State law requires dog owners to license any dog over 6 months of age with the town clerk between January 1 and April 1 every year. To obtain a license, the owner must present proof that the dog is vaccinated against rabies, pay the fee, and, in the case of spayed/neutered dogs, provide a certificate of sterilization. You may license your dog by mail or use the drop box at the town office door.
License fees are $11.00 for spayed/neutered dogs and $15.00 for those who are not. After April 1 the fees are $15.00 and $19.00 respectively.
